India Unfolding is a small, independent, non-commercial project. We keep almost nothing about you — here is the whole story.
What we collect
We count page views two ways. Our own counter uses no cookies and never stores your IP address — it cannot tell who you are. We also use Google Analytics, which does set cookies and does process your IP address, to understand how people find the site.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies (named `_ga` and similar) to tell repeat visits apart. Apart from those, the site sets no tracking cookies, and the only other cookie is a login for us, the site's editors. If you would rather not be counted, any browser setting or extension that blocks Google Analytics will stop it, and the rest of the site works exactly the same.
If you contact us
If you email us or use our contact form, we receive your name, email and message, and use them only to reply. The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party service that simply passes your message to us. We never sell or share your details.
Photos and links
Some photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are credited to the people who took them. Links to other websites follow their rules, not ours.
Your choice
Since we hold almost no data about you, there is little to ask for — but you can always email us with any privacy question.
